to provide general HR support by covering all aspects of the function.
Recruits employees that meet the agreed level of competencies and experience and assist Line Managers with their selection.
Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information and other uses.
Records employee information such as personal data, benefits, attendance, and performance Ensures that all visa formalities are completed in line with local regulations and policy.
Follows up on all legal issues related to employment records and employees.
Coordinate the maintenance, recording, preparation and reporting of data related to a large departments personnel information;
Review all Department personnel forms for completeness, accuracy, timing, and conformity to budget and policy guidelines to include faculty appointments.
Make recommendations and process forms as appropriate.
Maintain liaison with HR managers, departmental business managers, administrative staff, Department senior management, Human Resource representatives and others as necessary to obtain and provide information.
Communicate and educate departmental personnel policies and/or benefit changes.
Investigate, document, and resolve human resource problems and issues.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Participates in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within organization.
Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, apprenticeship programs, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading, retraining displaced workers, and leadership development.
Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
